Nalini Explains Tattwa Shuddhi

Dr. Nalini Sahay explains what Tattwa Shuddhi is. She tells us that it means purification of the five elements: earth, water, fire, air and ether. These elements exist in the universe and also in our minds and bodies. The practice of Tattwa Shuddhi involves purifying these elements so that ether is the strongest. Sadhu Maharaj tells us in this lecture that without the grace of the guru nothing will happen in life. He says a connection with a spiritual master makes enlightenment possible and it changes us - and he relates his own personal story with this. A connection with a guru is like a light bulb plugged into power - it burns bright and is connected to their own spiritual master in turn.
