Short Standing Yoga Class - 15 minutes

This 15 minute short yoga class is done with all standing postures. It is a beginner to advanced beginner level class, but it assumes you know a little bit about yoga. Class includes 3 rounds of sun salutations, standing forward bend, standing cobra, airplane, tree, triangle, revolving lateral triangle, standing forward bend variation with legs apart and shoulder stretch, and standing final relaxation. Single Leg Seated Forward Bend Variations

This video demonstrates two intermediate level variations of the classical single leg seated forward bend. Sitting in half-lotus, first wrap one arm behind your back and hold onto the opposite foot before coming down. Another variation is to hold your hands behind your back in prayer position before coming down. Be careful of your knees with these variations - please warm-up first and make sure you are comfortable in the half-lotus position before attempting these variations. Demonstrated by Jan. How to do the Scorpion Yoga Posture

Learn 3 different techniques for how to do the scorpion. The first method is the traditional method of coming to headstand first. The second method is to make scorpion arms and swing your feet up against the wall. The third example is to turn around and with scorpion arms walk your feet up the wall.
